E-commerce

Shopping now starts with "which one should I buy?"

Shoppers ask AI to compare products and check sizes and compatibility. Marketplaces tend to dominate the answers. For your own store to appear as well, the details of thousands of products need to be complete, consistent and machine-readable.

01What people ask

What shoppers ask AI

These answers list products, brands and places to buy. If your product page is a photo and two lines copied from the manufacturer, AI skips it and cites the marketplace listing that describes the same product better.

  1. Comparison

"For a small flat, is a robot vacuum or a stick vacuum the better choice?"

  2. Choosing within a category

"I need an ergonomic office chair under 300 euros. What should I look for?"

  3. Compatibility

"Which coffee machine models does this filter fit?"

  4. Brand store

"Is it better to buy [brand name] from its official site or from a marketplace?"

  5. Store policies

"How many days do I have to return items to this shop, and is shipping free?"

02What we do

Fixes that work at catalog scale

Template-level product structured data

We set up Product and Offer markup once in the product template and the whole catalog benefits. Name, brand, price, stock, dimensions and variants always match what the page shows.

Guide to structured data

Buying guides on category pages

On the categories that drive revenue, we add short guides and questions that answer where shoppers get stuck. We also stop filter pages from multiplying into near-duplicates.

Product descriptions, in priority order

We don't rewrite every product by hand. We start with the products that bring the most sales and searches and fill in materials, dimensions, use and care there first.

Marketplace versus your own site

We measure separately whether AI shows you through your own site or your marketplace store, and point out which product details your site is missing to compete.

Consistent store policies

We check that shipping, returns, payment and contact details match across your site, Google Business Profile and marketplace stores.

03Common questions

E-commerce teams ask

Do we need to change platforms?

Usually not. Most structured data and template changes can be made on your current platform. If something isn't possible, the analysis says so plainly.

We have our own development team. How do we work together?

We hand template changes to your team as tickets, or apply them ourselves after approval. On the content side we work alongside your category and product teams.

We also sell on marketplaces. Does this affect them?

Consistent product data helps your marketplace stores too. We're not trying to reduce marketplace sales, only to get your own site into the answer as well.

Does this replace Google Shopping ads?

No, it's separate from advertising. Ads stay visible while the budget lasts. This work strengthens the product information itself.
