Software and product development

We build your product the way we build our own.

We build SaaS products, enterprise web applications, APIs and mobile apps. We develop and run our own products too: an SEO tool that works on desktop and in the cloud, a real-time chat app and a platform live in four languages. The same team works on your project.

01Scope

What we build

Product

Custom software and product development

SaaS products, enterprise web applications, internal systems, APIs and mobile apps. We turn the idea into a product and grow it with its users.

AI

AI integration and automation

Document and image processing, content pipelines, language model integration and automating work that's still done by hand. When needed, we run models on your own servers so data never leaves them.

Architecture

Architecture consulting and CTO support

Scalable architecture, moving from a monolith to services, technology choices and team building. If you don't have a technical lead, or want a second opinion, we step in as a part-time CTO.

Takeover

Taking over and modernizing existing products

We review a product another team built, list the risks and the technical debt, and modernize it piece by piece without taking it offline. Your users keep working.

GDPR

Data and compliance

GDPR and KVKK-compliant data flows, access control and audit logs. In heavily regulated industries we settle these questions at the start of the design.

02Proof

We try it on our own products first

The architecture and tools we recommend, we use on our own products first. Each of them solves a different technical problem, and all of them are live.

  1. Seodisias

An SEO and AI visibility tool that runs on desktop and in the cloud. It crawls large sites, stores measurement data and reports on it.

    Seodisias
  2. Tulpar Chat

A real-time chat app that companies can also install on their own servers. Currently in development.

    Tulpar Chat
  3. Kindlexy

A platform live in four languages, offering parents guidance and free tools. The web app is rolling out in stages.

03Team

The person running your project knows the code

Sparkzone's founder, Ali Gündoğdu, has been building products and teams for more than 20 years. In Berlin he built and led an engineering team of more than 20 people, and he has shipped products in energy, insurance, physical security, fintech and education. Today he works as a CTO and still writes code. He makes the technical calls on your project.

04Process

From discovery to maintenance

  1. Step 1

    Discovery

We talk through your business, your users and your current systems, and agree together on what belongs in the first release and what can wait.

  2. Step 2

    Architecture

We put technology choices, the data model, integrations and the hosting plan in writing. The timeline and scope in our proposal are based on that document.

  3. Step 3

    Iterative development

We work in short cycles. At the end of each one you see a working build in a test environment, and we set the next cycle's priorities together.

  4. Step 4

    Launch and maintenance

We launch the product, monitor it and keep it up to date. If you prefer, we hand the code and documentation over to your own team.

05FAQ

About software development

Which technologies do you work with?

Mostly TypeScript, Go, PHP (Symfony) and Python; PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis for data; AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare and Docker for infrastructure. We choose based on what the project needs and what your team already knows.

Who owns the code?

We spell out ownership and handover in the contract. Our default approach is to hand over the code we write to you, together with its documentation.

Can you work alongside our in-house development team?

Yes. We can support your team with architecture and technical leadership, take on a specific module, or run the whole project. We set up code review and release processes together with your team.

Will you take over a product another company built?

Yes. First we review the code, the infrastructure and the open issues, and write up a status report. We discuss the risks of the takeover and the modernization plan based on that report.

How long does a project take, and how is it priced?

It depends on scope. After a discovery call we send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and price of the first release.
